My recent stay at Slebech Park Estate was nothing short of magical. the historic Georgian manor house is nestled on a 650-acre private estate along the DauGleddau river Estuary in the heart of Pembrokeshire National Park. the stunning waterside location provided a serene and informal atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and immersing myself in nature. The room I stayed in, the lovely "Orangery 2," was beautifully decorated with organic toiletries, Egyptian cotton sheets, and a king-size bed by Savoir. the room also offered a terrace overlooking the house gardens, creating a peaceful setting for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. As someone who appreciates attention to detail and locally sourced ingredients, I was delighted to discover the 2 Rosette restaurant on the estate. the 4-course Mother's Day menu showcased the finest Welsh produce, allowing guests to experience the flavors of the region in a refined dining setting. I particularly enjoyed the meandering walks along the river, through wild meadows, and mature woodlands on the estate. the natural beauty and abundant wildlife added to the charm of Slebech Park, making it a truly unforgettable destination for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. the combination of luxury accommodation, fine dining, and serene surroundings created the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and reconnect with nature in a historic setting.
